He is currently an in-person Personal Trainer and Health Coach at The Exercise Coach in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he works one-on-one with clients to build confidence, move better, and reach their health and fitness goals. Before joining The Exercise Coach, Nathaniel worked as a Physical Therapy Exercise Technician at the Center for Physical Rehabilitation, collaborating with licensed physical therapists to guide patients through rehabilitation and functional exercise programs. He has experience working with collegiate athletes, older adults, and individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries or living with conditions such as Parkinson's disease, dementia, depression, and anxiety. Nathaniel is a NASM Certified Group Fitness Instructor (CGFI), a Certified Stretch Coach through StretchLab, and an American Red Cross Certified Emergency Medical Responder (EMR). His background in exercise science and rehabilitation allows him to create safe, personalized programs tailored to each client's needs and goals. Above all, Nathaniel believes that great coaching starts with listening. He takes the time to understand each client's story, goals, and challenges so he can provide meaningful guidance and lasting results. His passion is helping others become stronger, healthier, and more confident, one step at a time.
